THEATER DESIGN

Prior to transitioning to teaching and writing, Miranda built a successful career designing costumes for theater and opera on and off Broadway in New York, as well as at regional theaters across the country. She collaborated with acclaimed and Tony-winning directors such as Michael Greif and Rebecca Taichman, among others. Her designs are known for strong silhouettes, a quality of playfulness, and meticulous attention to detail.
